Meet our Doctors of Audiology
About Ronna Sandler rwsandler@attglobal.net
Dr. Sandler has been in practice in the Northern Virginia area for over 30 years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin before earning her master’s degree in Audiology at George Washington University. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology through the Arizona School of Health Sciences and is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She was based in medical audiology for many years, having established an audiology and oto-vestibular testing center for a large group of otolaryngologists in the metropolitan area. She feels that private practice has given her the opportunity to specialize in the aspects of audiology that interest her most, particularly rehabilitation of hearing loss.
When not at work, Dr. Sandler enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
About Gina Hayes gcrovato@att.biz
Dr. Hayes has been an audiologist since 2001, earning her Master’s Degree in audiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and going on to pursue her doctorate through the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is licensed and certified in audiology in both Virginia and Maryland and is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology. During her fellowship year, Dr. Hayes worked on a multi-disciplinary team in both a clinical and educational environment, including doing some consulting with educators and child care providers of children with hearing loss. Since then, she has worked closely with otolaryngologists and in private practice. She specializes in digital hearing aid technology and especially enjoys the rewarding feelings she gets in working with people with hearing loss.
Dr. Hayes is a native of Fairfax County, Virginia. She and her husband like to travel in their all-too infrequent spare time and begin each football season with high hopes for the Redskins.
